Heading the Company’s team is Gerard Keena, a recognized authority in problem resolution, crisis management and real estate management issues. His hands-on approach together with his seasoned team of business professionals allows for efficient receivership case administration. Whether the case is on behalf of a government institution or large financial institution the team works to streamline the administration of each case in order to ensure a positive and cost-effective outcome.

Many court receivers are either attorneys with limited hands-on knowledge of turning around and managing under performing assets or non-attorneys with limited understanding of the critical legal aspects involved in receivership work. Gerard Keena oversees each receivership appointment and brings over 17 years of real estate and business experience to each case. Nathaniel Marston has been a licensed attorney for over 15 years with experience in various areas of real estate and business law. As such, Bay Area Receivership clients benefit from the vast real world experience of two experts. Every case is analyzed to ensure that the best resources are used for each project and costs are kept to a minimum.
Since 1999, Gerard Keena has handled over 50 cases for large and small banks, private lenders, venture capitalists and municipalities. His team of professionals has served as Receiver or Referee over rental income properties, construction projects, businesses and partition sales. Mr. Keena currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Northern California Chapter of the California Receivers Forum and lecturers on various topics in the receivership field.
